Excellent food, excellent staff. Hygiene in the bathrooms is a major concern. The rooms were also not properly cleaned.

My stay was excellent

Beautiful environment and very serene . The entertainment at night was exceptional and very inclusive. Hmmm not so much to say about the spa but the staffs were nice and friendly . The food was great and love the setting of the dining, lots of options to choose from.I wish I stayed longer but will definitely come back

The spa is a bit lacking but I can forgive because the staffs are nice. I think a new hair stylist for braids is much needed. I had to do my hair at the salon which not up to standard

Excellent holiday with excellent service at a beautiful paradise!

The staff are superb, amazing food between the main dinning area plus the 2 restaurants provide great options, the drinks selections are wonderful. The room with the beach view was amazing especially to catch a sunrise and sunset, room was basically perfect, everything worked as it should, water was always perfect temperature. Pools are well kept. All in all good value and great team of ppl who really make an effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

The tide phenomenon wasn’t the greatest as you can only swim in a specific window however this is a general/widespread occurrence of nature through Zanzibar and we were not surprised as we knew beforehand.

Wonderful

I booked a trip for my parents, this is their feedback: Staff super friendly. The hotel was really nice, the rooms had amazing mattress. The food was also very good. We booked several day trips with them and everything went well. On our last day, the checkout was early and our flight late, but they were amazing and moved us to another room free of charge. I recommend.

Great resort and a great stay.

Very beautiful resort. There are three pools and a kidspool, three restaurants and four bars. The food is decent and you are never hungry since there are snack hours between every meal. They have lots of excursions and a massage parlour and a gym. They also have different shops although a bit expensive. Location is alright. They have different types of entertainment with traditional music and dances. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Their pool-table needs a replacement. Our room was right next to a construction site so it was a bit noisy during the day. The Wi-Fi was terrible in the room and the pictures and descriptions of the rooms aren’t updated, since our room didn’t have a couch nor a TV. Even though we wanted to have a massage, the experience of the spa staff other guests have had, is understandable since they are a bit pushy. The sea water is a bit murky and filled with seaweed, so we didn’t swim in the ocean.

We had a great time. Didnt want to leave!

Wow wow wow! My expiernce. An hour from stonetown on the east coast. We got welcomed with a tamarind welcome drink and very friendly staff. They quickly assisted us and explained how everything works. A masai helped my with her bag to the room. The resort is split over 3 resorts with 3 pools, 4 bars, and 3 resturants. The tours and massages offered close to reception was reasonably priced and of decent qaulity. The buffet style main restaurant was of great quality and we especially enjoyed building our own salads. All the staff was expectionally friendly and always there to help. We also enjoyed the entertainment offered and music being played. We did not want to leave. Yes, The ocean pulls back during the day. This is the tide in Zanzibar. Nothing you can do.They clean the beach daily.

Wonderful

We absolutely loved our stay . The perfect hotel for kids. All inclusive was a great choice. Food was a variety and tasty. Breakfast was average but Lunch and Dinner definitely made up for it . 3 Restaurants to choose from we didn't get bored. Entertainment after 9 at night was amazing and very thoughtful of the hotel. Drinks were a variety aswell . We got a upgrade upon arrival . Thank u Loveness. She got us checked-in quick n comfortable. Miss the place already.

The shower was sad and slow. The beds were not comfort to sleep in , but was fully aware of the hard beds. Breakfast needs help but as mentioned Lunch n Dinner was amazing at all 3 restaurants. Lots of flies at Main larger buffet restaurant. But understand its the heat n food combo attracting the flies.

Gud place to hangout and value for money But if you are vegetarian think before you book full board

There are Plenty of facilities and pools, staff is very cordial, they have many hangout points, evening activities. The place is very peaceful too. Whether you want to enjoy with family/friends or just relax, this is the best place.

They have a Indian restaurant and I pre-enquired about availability of vegetarian food. It was informed that they have plenty of vegetarian options which was my main reason for booking this resort. But, there is hardly anything for vegetarians which was very disappointing. However, Chefs and staffs were courteous enough to take specific request. Still naming a restaurant as 'Namaste' and and claiming that as Indian restaurant is deceiving, as food preparation is not at all Indian style. I felt like wasted my money for full board.

Excelent stay, lovely ocean view , friendly staff and good entertainment will recommend to any

The location of the resort is perfect and I would recommend any one that wants a break to go there and relax. No worries if you have any issue you can speak to management and they will sort it out for you. Will definitely go again.

There is no Ice on the resort, get an ice machine there is aircons in the room running 24/7 but you cant make any ice. Having a hot soft drink on a hot day is not so nice. Please I recommend that you get an ice machine the customers will be a lot happier when they stay over.

Great stay, great value for money and perfect for a family. Few annoying tourists

Paradise beach was better than I had anticipated. We stayed in a suite which was comfortable. The AC worked well and kept us nice and cool. We had all inclusive package that was upgraded for free when we got there. The food in the main restaurant was decent. Lots of fruits, local food was available when I had the taste of traditional swahili food. The pasta bar was also better than I had expected. They had kid options to make it easier for those with smaller children. The vibe of the location was excellent for our family. The kids thoroughly loved it. The hotel organized a day visit to Mnemba and Nungwi which was great even though it rained all day. The staff were very friendly. The bar was great with our upgrade we got top shelf drinks. Great ocean view

The beach isn't the nicest, but there is a shuttle that takes you to a nicer beach. Wifi was spotty occasionally but OK in general. I live in the region so I'm used to spotty wifi. The Indian restaurant Namaste is probably the worst Indian food I have ever had. It's not authentic and I think, somewhat diluted to cater to tourists but the dishes were not tasty. It also had no child-friendly dishes. None of the restaurants or bars had fresh fruit juice which was surprising and disappointing. Also no phone in the room to call room service in such a big hotel it didn't make sense why they didn't invest in one. Though the staff were friendly, there were several instances where we were ignored in favor of the European tourists. Unfortunately, this is not uncommon in some African countries including my own, but still disappointing to experience when we have the right to equal treatment. There's limited diversity in guests as most are European, we stood out as one of the few black guests, and there were some European guests who were taking pictures of my kids without permission, which infuriated me. ((** to everyone especially non-Africans reading this, DO NOT TAKE PICTURES OF OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN!!**) I shouldn't have to say this in 2024. Take pictures of your own children and leave ours alone. They are not props...Sadly, this is something that is not unique to Paradise Beach hotel.
