Great stay, great value for money and perfect for a family. Few annoying tourists

Paradise beach was better than I had anticipated. We stayed in a suite which was comfortable. The AC worked well and kept us nice and cool. We had all inclusive package that was upgraded for free when we got there. The food in the main restaurant was decent. Lots of fruits, local food was available when I had the taste of traditional swahili food. The pasta bar was also better than I had expected. They had kid options to make it easier for those with smaller children. The vibe of the location was excellent for our family. The kids thoroughly loved it. The hotel organized a day visit to Mnemba and Nungwi which was great even though it rained all day. The staff were very friendly. The bar was great with our upgrade we got top shelf drinks. Great ocean view

The beach isn't the nicest, but there is a shuttle that takes you to a nicer beach. Wifi was spotty occasionally but OK in general. I live in the region so I'm used to spotty wifi. The Indian restaurant Namaste is probably the worst Indian food I have ever had. It's not authentic and I think, somewhat diluted to cater to tourists but the dishes were not tasty. It also had no child-friendly dishes. None of the restaurants or bars had fresh fruit juice which was surprising and disappointing. Also no phone in the room to call room service in such a big hotel it didn't make sense why they didn't invest in one. Though the staff were friendly, there were several instances where we were ignored in favor of the European tourists. Unfortunately, this is not uncommon in some African countries including my own, but still disappointing to experience when we have the right to equal treatment. There's limited diversity in guests as most are European, we stood out as one of the few black guests, and there were some European guests who were taking pictures of my kids without permission, which infuriated me. ((** to everyone especially non-Africans reading this, DO NOT TAKE PICTURES OF OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN!!**) I shouldn't have to say this in 2024. Take pictures of your own children and leave ours alone. They are not props...Sadly, this is something that is not unique to Paradise Beach hotel.

Excelent stay, lovely ocean view , friendly staff and good entertainment will recommend to any

The location of the resort is perfect and I would recommend any one that wants a break to go there and relax. No worries if you have any issue you can speak to management and they will sort it out for you. Will definitely go again.

There is no Ice on the resort, get an ice machine there is aircons in the room running 24/7 but you cant make any ice. Having a hot soft drink on a hot day is not so nice. Please I recommend that you get an ice machine the customers will be a lot happier when they stay over.

My stay was excellent

Beautiful environment and very serene . The entertainment at night was exceptional and very inclusive. Hmmm not so much to say about the spa but the staffs were nice and friendly . The food was great and love the setting of the dining, lots of options to choose from.I wish I stayed longer but will definitely come back

The spa is a bit lacking but I can forgive because the staffs are nice. I think a new hair stylist for braids is much needed. I had to do my hair at the salon which not up to standard

We had a great time. Didnt want to leave!

Wow wow wow! My expiernce. An hour from stonetown on the east coast. We got welcomed with a tamarind welcome drink and very friendly staff. They quickly assisted us and explained how everything works. A masai helped my with her bag to the room. The resort is split over 3 resorts with 3 pools, 4 bars, and 3 resturants. The tours and massages offered close to reception was reasonably priced and of decent qaulity. The buffet style main restaurant was of great quality and we especially enjoyed building our own salads. All the staff was expectionally friendly and always there to help. We also enjoyed the entertainment offered and music being played. We did not want to leave. Yes, The ocean pulls back during the day. This is the tide in Zanzibar. Nothing you can do.They clean the beach daily.

the restaurant and swimming pool from the bay resort. the staff and receptionist were nice.

The smell of the bedsheets due to humidity problem and the very loud music until 2am from the street. We couldnt sleep until it stops. It says that the hotel has just been renovated (?) but looks like only one part of the hotel was. I got debited before my stay while I opted for the payment on arrival and I had to proof it as they wanted to charge me again on arrival . Then I had to pay the tax separately … why wasn’t it charge together ? Not the fault of the hotel but problem of synchronisation and not pleasant

It is a very beautiful place. Amazing pools and beach. The food was AMAZING!!!

The service was very good, but the housekeeper team needs to improve a bit. Maybe more training is needed. (Personal point of view). Moreover, the system of making people pay for drinks after the bar is supposedly close is not okay. All inclusive should be all-inclusive. If the bar is close, it is close to everybody.

Recommended Holiday Stay for Families!

The hotel is located in Uroa. We throughly enjoyed our stay, special thanks to Mashaka at the information desk and Swaleh at the Tours and Excursions Desk! The hotel had different activities planned all day + evening whether you are travelling as a family or group of friends, there are multiple pools on location and the wifi was actually much better than expected for us. The food was averagely okay with a good selection daily and drinks could be served at any of the 4 beach/pool bars which is great. The team was also extremely helpful with processes to get PCR tests ahead of our flight.

- The newly renovated rooms still smell like paint and were impossible to sleep in! More could be done to make them liveable. - Room to improve the juice served over meals, it was not fresh juice and quite watered down! - Alcoholic drinks under all inclusive had quite a number of restrictions such as no local beers could be accessed and all drink access closed by 11pm.

Relaxing stay in general, but I regret purchasing their honeymoon package. It was so not worth it.

If I ignore other specifics (more on that later), I thoroughly enjoyed Paradise Beach Resort's all inclusive package for our honeymoon. Considering the relatively affordable price, the rooms, location, the food and the general aesthetic of the resort are all really good. A fantastic place overall to vacation and unwind.

We bought the honeymoon package which was, frankly speaking, quite pricey. That wouldn't have been much of a problem if all the provisions of the package were properly served. The first couple of days went well, with our wine and minibar delivered to our room as well as the dinner under the stars. After that, we pretty much had to fight for every other package item that we had already paid for to be served. It seemed that that staff member who had first taken care of our package arrangements was the only one who knew about it, and when he went away on leave all the other staff members who had to serve us knew nothing about the package items that were due to us. After lots of back and forth, we eventually got most of what we paid for, but to add insult to injury, at the checkout desk, I was asked to pay for the sparkling wine that was delivered to our room on arrival - ironically, the very first item on the package that we had purchased on arrival. I suppose mistakes happen, but what I don't get is how it then needed 30 minutes to clear up that billing error and let me go. It really soured what had otherwise been a relaxing stay. My advice - DO NOT purchase any 'packages' from the resort above the general all-inclusive package. The coordination among the staff regarding arrangements and provision of optional services and billing is extremely poor, and you will end up very frustrated.
